    前剑桥大学英国皇家工业院士和中国科学院苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生研究所研究员,世界级材料科学家。1988年留学英国从事材料科学研究达36年。曾任世界知名雅培公司首席科学家并获总裁奖。其经历涵盖了有机、无机、生物、复合材料的研发、设计、生产。近几年申请专利二十余项,专注科学成果转化和高端工业应用,包括:

1、航天航空材料:合成特种高分子PEKK及其微纳米复合材料,及其工程领域的应用,包括抗宇宙高能射线核核辐射材料、轻量化航天航空复合材料;

2、医学医用材料:仿生骨科材料、可降解心血管支架、无药医用创伤修复、无机缓释药物技术、生物传感器;

3、天然植物材料:(1) 用环保天然高分子植物纤维为原材料取代污染严重的塑料、铝、铁; (2) 专注植物分子萃取,用于医药、食品、美容、保健等高端领域,包括中草药。
